Death Note: The Last Name

I just saw this movie yesterday and to be totally honest it wasn't like the first one. What I mean is everything seems to be too repetitive. If you haven't already know what Death Note is about it takes an ordinary boy name Light Yagami and gives him the ability to kill who he wants with a notebook which can kill anyone simply by having an image of their face and writing their name down. Light with his new abilities starts to help the helpless by killing of criminals and renamed himself Kira. The authorities not liking Kira's abilities investigates and hires another young man named L. Light and L's battle continues with this sequel to last years blockbuster event.

To be totally honest the only reason I watched this was because its one of the only stories that actually portrays the protagonist as the villain which is Light and the villain which is L as the hero. Most people as well love the fact that Light and L always try to outsmart each other. I guess you can call me a villain at heart so I love the fact that Light is very ruthless would sacrifice his own love ones life in order to fulfill what he wants. I just didn't like the ending it pissed me off. Other then that its a good movie Its better then that 300 crap people talk about.

Ohhhh something new! boys and girls well boys for the most part, You can actually pee and have something to look at now other then staring blankly at the wall or resisting the urge to look over the next stall just to see how smaller or bigger the other guy is to you. I doubt this will ever happen here in the U.S. but definitely when I own my anime shop the bathroom will have something like this for sure!

Sorry to keep you guys waiting school is in the groove and spring semester is on. Not to mention Gamestop is making me work more and more, which isn't a bad thing it's just I don't really like working there and I wish that they would give me less hours cause that would be awesome. Well let's get to what I have to offer to you today shall we?
This figure I had opened a while back probably the 20th but, like I said I didn't really have the time in fact I'll be going to work soon so this is what I figured I should waste my time on.
Ok let's get started with things I hate, well if you guys have been good and have been reading my post on figures. I hate badly painted parts the last picture indicates a horrible paint job on the leg, just like the previous Sei figure I had reviewed same problem with the leg. Come on now guys it should be hard to make the same mistake twice. Another thing I didn't like on this figure the painting on the face not so pretty, as in it was natural didn't give the natural shine. Now with the exchangeable part that when lifted exposes Sei's milk makers (lame -_-' I know I can't help it) everything looks nice or at least decent, its just I wish you could pop the top off, in reality you could only life it which gives you the feeling of an old perverted man peeping believe me the feeling doesn't feel good at all. And the last thing that bothered me was that when exchanged parts she doesn't stand up even as in one part is shorter then all 3 which really bothered me because her back leg has to be on top of the other figures base just so she can stand up evenly, one word for it...ugly.
Now the best for last, One thing I was very happy and satisfied with was her buns especially in her pants, Its round and the crack is visible very DETAILED might I add. Her boobs look nice a light pink color on her nipple was added, there was only one unsightly spot that I found that was bad which was her leg other then that shes does pretty well and looks pretty decent whether its in front of your monitor or in a display case.

In the end this Sei is no better then the other Sei I had reviewed before I give her a 7/10 she would have done better if it wasn't for the uneven length with her arms and legs as well as the painting on her leg was noticed and fixed

Chitose Nambu 1/6 Scale PVC Figure

Oh man the World of Warcraft Expansion Burning Crusades was crazy! I was at work from 11 pm - 2am, I got home at 2:55 am I needed to be up by 7 am! so I decided to forget it and just play my Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess for the next 2 and a half hour, I feel like crap now I'm at school all beaten up (sigh) By the time I got through the afternoon. I was biting myself just to prevent me from falling asleep. It was a painstaking task just to get through my Medical Terminology class.
Any who here I am with a couple of minutes to spare, I thought I might bring a new figurine just to recover from the repercussions that we endured with the 1/7 scale Meg made by Yamato. Today I bring you the Chitose Nambu figurine from the anime "Amaenaideyo" Its a more towards the ecchi type of anime very funny. Its a bout a monk who can transform into a super monk performing mass exorcism with lust! interested yet? I bet you are! Any who you all are fortunate enough to see one of the characters being reviewed today.
So lets get started, It was very visible that she had interchangeable articles of clothing. What gave me a spook was that it was so hard to put it on and off, for instance, I thought I was going to snap the upper part of the body just trying to remove the head in order to change the top she had going at the moment. Taking the top wasn't easy either as you pull the shirt off her arms you get the feeling that it was going to rip. Lucky for me that material was very durable and can with stand a good stretch. the midway section of her skirt where there was a sort of rubbery plastic material that over lap her belt was quiet annoying when putting on a new top, most of the time it got in the way. Preventing me from putting and locking the top on with the little arms that go through the holes. Her skirt was really annoying as the slightest rumble will cause her to tip over, Wished they'd done something about that.
Other then that the figurine prove fantastic. I was really impressed with the nice base it came with as well it was a brown and resembled a wooden flooring, I don't know about you but when you've seen so many crappy transparent or black and brown stands it gets really old really fast and just a little design on em' really puts a smile on my face seeing that you actually did something more. One thing that definitely stands out on this figure is her eyes some say its too big I say its true to the anime look and I happen to like that. Her top can be exposed and from a distance it looks like its not made of plastic at all but something you can actually squeeze, unfortunately when up close you can tell its made of plastic but hey! what ever makes it look even more presentable. If you wanna satisfy your need for good figurine I say definitely pick this one up before its all gone!

Bottom line I'd have to give this figurine a 8 out of 10 because of the interchangeable parts that you can play around with no crappy painting residue, a nice stand, and something to entertain the boy in all of us.

Your probably thinking what do you mean craving? well just thought it would be nice to listen to him so I'm looking up this one song called "Because I said you're my girl" on Youtube and I ran into one of his videos from his second album. It's ok but I thought it seems too similar to his first music video...well you guys decide hope you enjoy it. By the way the son is called "Words that are hard to say"

Creator's Labo Burst Angel 1/7 Scale Meg

Schools almost back and I've been either too lazy or too busy to post the goodies, any who after resting the whole day I figured I'd bring you, Meg. Now my Sei figure won't be so lonely...Unfortunately I was really disappointed at Meg. If you have read the Sei review, the you would know I had given her a 7 out 10 rating. Now if I were to put Sei and Meg side by side it would be an over kill for Sei. I would definitely give her a 9 out 10 compare to Meg. Why you ask? Ok lets break it down.
When I had gone and purchase her I can already tell something was wrong, The tanning on her breast leg and arm, were too red I know she wears a very tight outfit but I think they over did the skin color on the body parts I had just pointed out. By the way the last 4 photos gives you a closer look on the disappointment to expect. Meg's bracelet seem to have left a nasty black paint that I can't take off and its very irritating, I don't know what to cover the ridiculous lining that separates her hand and forearm or the black paint mark that was left behind! Her skirts strings or knot looks like it was painted by a baboon, not to mention the little plastic crumples that was left all over the legs it looks like crap seriously. I really did not expect so much crap from Yamato, another thing is when you look at her from the side it looks so fake big tits and very thin abdomen...is she anorexic? the base is transparent nothing special about it.
Covering all the disappointment about this figure let's move on to the good stuff...(yawns)...(looks at his watch)...yup...any minute now...well she has a hat and a rack to go with it...does that count?

I really don't think Meg deserves this score but I really can't do anything about it. No thanks to Yamato, I hope you guy better man up and start to make things right, Meg pretty much takes home a 4 out of 10...it shouldn't even be in the display case.

1/6 Scale Pre Painted Saber Swimsuit Version

Hey everyone, sorry about putting you on hold yesterday I had a pretty busy schedule...sort of hahahaha but I was out the whole time or playing Hitman: Blood Money, any who today I'm going to review the 1/6 scale Saber Swimsuit edition. I'm sure most of you guys have heard of Fate/Stay Night, If well if you haven't heard of it yet Saber is one of the leading characters in the series. I urge you to go buy the anime you won't be disappointed. I was browsing through some figurines yesterday at F&S and I happen to run into Saber, meaning to buy it for sometime now I quickly picked it up and purchased it. Hours later here I' am with another review for you all.
As you guys have come to know me, let's go ahead and start with its flaws...which isn't very much might I add. Well one critical complain I have on this figure is that the holes on the soles of her feet does not fit correctly, I practically had to hammer her down to the base which is a translucent sky blue color, which I like by the way. Another thing while I was slaving to get her on the base I found a dark dirt or smudge on the left leg didn't appreciate that but I got it off with a Q tip. I don't know about you but I felt as if they could have done a little more touch up on the ribbons or bows on the side of her hip, Other then that shes practically flawless.
Now onto the goods, This is by far one of the best sabers on the market no smidgetty smudges during the paint job body looks great. Her pose is realistic and cute, naturally ready for a photo shoot might I add. Very detailed I just love it! If you had to ask, this is pretty much keeps us collectors pumping with joy. her lefts are very detailed and silky smooth upper body is in tip top shape down to the last natural groove! and her finger nails are done really well. Her hands can hold practically anything as you can see in the pictures, I made her the new model for anchor blue hehehehehe, Good cologne Good figure what more can you need.

Bottom line I'd have to give her a 9 out of 10

1/8 Scale Pre-Painted Figure Sei (Burst Angel)

Let me start of by saying, I enjoyed a day without having to work like everyone else. Any who what I bring you today is one of the 4 Burst Angel figures released so far, aside from Jo and Meg as well as Amy, mostly made by Alter Sei is the first I've bought so far. I do believe there are a lot of people giving her a bad review, I don't want to say I'm one of them but she is far from flawless, but let's not forget there are a couple of features that I applaud.

Lets begin with the obvious, which are her flaws. Firs thing I couldn't help but notice when I pulled her out of the box was her left shoulder the plastic molding isn't very well made. Another is her lower left leg, hmm...I don't have to be a professional to point out that the paint work on her left left is disgusting, what seems to be a slit in her pants to reveal flesh, has really turned out to look more like a flesh wound or something the black or grayish black paint has smeared on over the thigh very unprofessional. The base that she came in was really plain and has no kind of trademark nor design, just a typical brown color and glossy, not much to look at. A big complain I have about Sei is that when I was putting her on the stand you practically have to move both legs apart to fit it in to the base and the loud plastic squeals does not help I felt as if it was Thanksgiving all over again and me breaking a wishbone.

Since I've covered most of the bad, let's move on to the good, I like the fact that she seems two faced if you stare at her from the right she looks very lady like and from the left she shows a more masculine side, I found this a rather amusing combination. Probably about as amusing as her upside down bra, raising so much question on how she gets around without them falling out? Sei offers one of the best abdominal section I've seen, If you ever run into this figure take a good look at her abs and tell me thats not one of the best you've seen around the belly button is a great touch looks real clean. Her cloak has a nice touch with a burst of wind blowing, for me that just adds a more natural anime look. Others would probably disagree but I like it.

Over all I'd have to say shes an average figure rating a 7 out of 10, nothing more nothing less.

Oops Almost forgot today I stopped by Best Buy to purchase a Laptop for my mom, sorry I don't really have a picture of the store since I was foolish enough to leave my memory card in the drive at home in my desktop. I was smart enough to bring the camera though...just shows how absent minded I'am from time to time. Any who I got a great deal $603 tax included for a decent laptop cd and dvd drive readers and writers , 80 GB or should I say 60GB because of all the junk that they preloaded into it. By the way that Best Buy that I had stopped at had a junk load of PS3, guess nobody wants them...

You all probably has played a game called "Tekken" so far in your life time. Well as a Anime figurine collector, I recent hired Joseph Tsai, Mr. TokyoHunter himself to find Asuka Kazama. For those unfamiliar with Asuka she happens to be Jin's cousin and both characters in the game share the same surname. I had recently seen Asuka online on the Bishoujo Figure Convention 2006 exclusives. Right of that bat it was one of the figures I really need to pick up, so weeks later here, I' am just waiting for her to be shipped. As I was searching for any new features in Mr. Choo's page I noticed a site that had a youtube link and the commercial really took me by surprise! I was all like is that Tommy Lee Jones?!?! and it was TLJ himself I guess hes advertising some kind of coffee or drink called "Boss" where he takes odd jobs just like Oe Kintaro (Golden Boy). I can't believe it, but see for yourself TLJ has aged a lot recently with the death of Mr. Ford I hope he's not next. Not to Jynx him or anything he looks pretty good for his age though I'm sure we all remember him in MIB and the not so favorite sequel MIB II. At any point without further ado, I bring you TLJ.

My work

If you guys didn't know I do work at Gamestop. Its kinda funny seeing how I used to work at Gameworks, I get customers or guests (inside joke if you worked for Gameworks) all the time saying I must enjoy video games since I work at both Gamestop and Gameworks. I simply reply with "No I just have a tendency to work where there is a Prefix of the word 'Game' in it."

Thinking about it now its been quiet some time since I had given up my job at Gameworks. Going on what I think 4-3 months now I can't help it, I mean what would you do if someone you've been working for accuses you for theft. I thought it was pretty outrageous and I guess we can thank Mr. Keith Wolfe (General Manger) for that. Sweet guy but he was a prick to even accuse me of that crime like I said I've been working for Sega for a whole year why would I even choose to steal now? makes no sense! and Darlene (my manager) which was the manager for Redemption did not even back me up. I always bend over backwards for her, when she would ask me to come in I would but she couldn't even back me up saying I wouldn't do such a thing thats pretty much why I don't give a fuck anymore. When they would call me at work now and I'm not schedule I usually just delete the message LOL its not like that manager will give me a break so why bother? I pretty much learned my lesson now.

In fact just to show you how messed up work places are they scheduled me to work today and tomorrow without even telling me I get a call from Dave asking me why I wasn't there yet and I was like "no one informed me, if it was written by pen or pencil they never informed me" which made me kinda mad seeing I had plans to go to Frank & Sons tomorrow, I don't see that happening anytime soon but If I do manage to go there for a little bit probably going to pick up that Kozyndan artwork

I wanted to post in my room. Don't worry I'll bring more pictures for you all to see, so that someday you can venture on over to F&S to see what you can take home for cheap! you crazy hobbyist you!

I've been working at Gamestop for quiet sometime now and its really mind boggling to hear people complain about breaking their HDTVs, frames, vases, you name it they have broken it. I mean how the hell does this happen!?!?!

So please wear your strap as for Nintendo your straps do break! If I can suggest a better design it would probably look something like this.

I recently ran into this on youtube and its really something that will get your last song syndrome going. The tune is so easy and catchy I think I'm going to end up having the song in my head the whole evenning
